CHKSDSK is a tool to specially fix and reapir bad sectors on disc Start your computer and connect Hard Drive, then open Command Prompt as Admin privilege. If your Hard Drive is connecting to your computer and you’re unable to access it, you might want to run CHKDSK command. Type “ bootrec / fixmbr” without the quotes and press Enter key. Type “ bootrec / fixboot” without the quotes and press Enter key. This might give you a “successful message” if that happens, unplug your hard drive and plug it again to see if it works.
